Archery Calculators
Explore five calculators for complete arrow weight, front-of-center balance, momentum, grains per pound and measured bow let-off. Enter your measurements, review the formulas and compare results in metric or US units.
Measure your arrows and bow setup
Arrow Weight, Balance & Momentum
Build a component weight breakdown or measure where a completed arrow balances. These are separate measurements: knowing total weight does not tell you FOC.

Archery Arrow Weight Calculator
Add shaft and component weights to estimate a complete arrow in grains and grams, with a measured-weight comparison and component breakdown.
- Open
Archery Arrow FOC Calculator
Calculate arrow front-of-center from measured length and balance point, with a measurement diagram and signed balance offset.
- Open
Archery Arrow Momentum Calculator
Calculate arrow momentum and kinetic energy from complete-arrow mass and measured speed, with an optional second-setup comparison.
Measure your arrows and bow setup
Draw Force & Bow Setup
Calculate arrow grains per pound of measured draw force or compare peak and holding force to find let-off. Manufacturer minimum comparisons use your own documented reference.

Archery Grains per Pound Calculator
Calculate arrow grains per pound of measured draw force and optionally compare with a documented manufacturer minimum you enter.
- Open
Archery Bow Let-Off Calculator
Calculate compound bow let-off from measured peak and holding forces, with force reduction, holding percentage and a comparison chart.
A clearer picture of your arrows
Start with Arrow Weight when you know the shaft specification and component masses. Use the measured-shaft option for tapered or barreled shafts, then compare the total against a scale reading of the complete arrow.
Start with Arrow FOC when the arrow is assembled. Measure from the nock throat to the shaft end and from the same origin to the balance point. The illustrated guide keeps those reference points clear.
Use Arrow Momentum for measured mass and speed, Grains per Pound for the arrow-to-draw-force ratio, and Bow Let-Off for measured peak and holding forces. These quantities describe different aspects of the setup and should not be substituted for one another.
Each calculator includes worked examples, measurement guidance and source references. Results describe the inputs you enter; they do not select a shaft spine, certify equipment compatibility or prescribe a preferred balance range.
