How to calculate 60 days from a date

  1. Count the days left in the start month after the start date. For March 15, 2026, that is 31 − 15 = 16.
  2. Subtract them from 60, leaving 44, and move through whole months: April has 30 days, leaving 14.
  3. Count 14 days into the next month: May 14, 2026.

Calendar days vs. business days

Calendar days include weekends and holidays and are what most notices, payment terms such as "net 60" and return windows mean. Business days count Monday to Friday only, so 60 business days takes about 12 weeks.
